The doctor gave him two days off. However, mental fear has become a bigger cause of concern than physical injury. The father said that they will try to send the child back to school after the holidays.

School Action

The school authorities said that an internal investigation has been launched into the incident. It has been informed that the student concerned will be transferred to another class. Through this, efforts are being made to keep the school environment calm.

In addition, a proposal to discuss with the parents of both parties was also made. However, the child’s father wants to leave the matter to the police for now.

Police Investigation

Ampang Jaya District Police Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said that a police report has been received in the incident. The viral video is being viewed as part of the investigation.

The case is under investigation under Section 323 of the Penal Code. No one has been arrested yet. The police said that further action will be taken after the investigation.

Netizens’ Reaction

After the incident spread, many netizens expressed anger. Some questioned where the responsibility of the teachers who maintained discipline in such an incident was.

Others demanded strict punishment for child abuse. Some parents expressed concern, saying that schools are no longer the safe places they used to be.

Some have asked why the child was subjected to such bullying at such a young age.
