A brutal incident in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, has sparked widespread concern. On the night of January 6, a 24-year-old man posed as a security guard and threatened a couple. At the time of the incident, the couple was filming inside their car after buying burgers to make a mukbang video. Suddenly, the man approached and accused them of immoral activities.

This led to a long period of intimidation and coercion. The entire incident lasted for about five hours, according to sources.
Fraud in Disguise
The young man introduced himself as a security guard and assumed a position of authority. He confiscated the victims’ identity cards, which he had no legal authority to do. He then pressured them to buy the perfume he was selling.

When the couple said they did not have money, he became more aggressive. The situation gradually escalated. They could not resist due to fear.
Pressure to Extort Money
Later, the accused tried to extort money. He took control of the victims’ mobile phones. Then he forced them to transfer money to his account. In this way, he is said to have collected about 260 ringgit (around $83 SGD). He did not stop there.

Instead, he pushed the situation to a more serious level. Actually, he took the couple’s phone and forced the couple to engage in sexual intercourse in front of him.
Horrible Torture
The victim couple said that they were forced to obey his orders out of fear and panic. They were mentally disturbed for a long time. At one point, the man sexually assaulted the woman. After the incident, he quickly left the scene. This experience left a deep psychological trauma in their lives.

Arrest and Investigation
The police have confirmed that they have quickly arrested the accused. He was arrested from the Kota Damansara area. He has been remanded for seven days for investigation.
The case is being investigated under sections 392 and 377C of the Penal Code. Police said that security guards do not have such powers and the public should be vigilant.
