A Malaysian woman anonymously shared her personal story, opening up about her troubled marriage. She said her husband often told her he was going out to play pickleball for exercise and social reasons.

Over time, however, she began to feel uneasy and emotionally distant from him. What started as normal sports outings slowly became a source of suspicion and sadness for her.
Pickleball or Something More
Her husband did not simply go to nearby courts. Instead, he travelled to different locations, even those far from his usual route. She claimed he checked who would attend the games and looked at photos of participants before choosing where to play.

To her, this made the pickleball sessions feel less like exercise and more like a way to meet “pretty women.” The confession quickly gained attention online.
Her Presence Changes His Behavior
The woman said she once joined her husband at a pickleball session. During that time, he did not play or talk much and mostly sat quietly.
She believed his behaviour changed because she was there. This made her feel even more excluded, as if his social energy only appeared when she was not around.
Feeling Judged at Home
At home, the wife said her husband often criticised her appearance and weight. She added that he behaved very differently outside, eating large meals with others while claiming digestion problems at home.

These small actions slowly made her feel pushed aside and unwanted. She described feeling emotionally neglected despite living under the same roof.
Life As A Full-Time Caregiver
The woman shared that she stayed at home full time to care for their six-year-old child. While her husband said she could go out too, she felt unable to do so because no one else could look after their child.
As her husband enjoyed social time outside, she felt trapped inside the house, with little space for herself.
A Child Caught In Between
The emotional tension began to affect their child. She said her child cried at night and once asked why she kept apologising to his father.

In another moment of stress, she admitted saying words she later regretted, explaining they came during an emotional breakdown. She said she apologised repeatedly just to calm her husband.
Questioning the Meaning of Freedom
In the end, the wife said she felt too tired to change someone who did not want to change. She questioned whether her husband’s demand for freedom was really about sports and socialising, or something else.
Her confession ended without answers, but with a quiet question about what marriage and freedom truly meant to her life.
