A Malaysia-based Singaporean actor has spoken out after an anonymous social media user allegedly posted sexually explicit and threatening remarks targeting his wife and children. In his post, he calls for police action and online accountability.

Aaron Aziz, who is currently based in Malaysia, shared screenshots on Instagram showing a Facebook account believed to be using a fake identity. The account reportedly had almost no activity and only one friend listed.

Lewd Comment Allegedly Targeted Wife and Children

According to Aaron, the individual left a comment telling him to “go back to Singapore” and made a sexually suggestive remark involving his wife, language he described as deeply offensive and unacceptable.

He said that neither he nor his wife and children had ever bothered anyone, and criticised those who continued to provoke him.

Calling the comment rude and disturbing, Aaron also pre-emptively rejected the idea of a later apology, expressing frustration at how easily people hide behind anonymous accounts to harass others.

Actor Tags MCMC and Police, Seeks Accountability

In his post, Aaron tagged both the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), urging authorities to look into the matter.

He expressed regret at having to deal with such behaviour. He hoped action could be taken against individuals who misuse anonymity to issue harassment or threats online.

Netizens Urge Police Report, Warn Against Fake Accounts

In the comments, several netizens encouraged Aaron not to let the matter slide.

One commenter urged him to report the case directly to the police. The commenter said the remarks contained elements of sexual harassment and warned that such behaviour could easily be repeated against others if left unchecked.

Another netizen advised against immediately making the issue viral. The commenter suggested filing a report first, noting that fake accounts without real contact details can be difficult to trace once deleted. Aaron, however, felt public attention could help identify the person behind the account if someone recognised them.

Actor Remains Active in Film Projects

Aaron most recently appeared in Banduan, a Malaysian adaptation inspired by the Bollywood film Kaithi.

He is also currently involved in the production of Black OPS, an upcoming Malaysian action film scheduled for release in 2026.
