A First-Time Milestone
Palestine is set to make its debut at Miss Universe, with 27-year-old Nadeen Ayoub representing the country when the pageant takes place in Pak Kret, Thailand, on November 21, 2025.

This marks a historic milestone in the event’s 74-year history.
Who Is Nadeen Ayoub?
Ayoub was crowned Miss Palestine in 2022, and in the same year, she became the first Palestinian contestant at Miss Earth, where she finished among the top five finalists, according to The New Arab.
The 27-year-old was raised between Palestine, the United States, and Canada, and holds a degree in literature and psychology.
She also holds certification as a wellness and nutrition coach.
Today, she divides her time between Dubai in the UAE and Ramallah in the West Bank, JNS noted.
Speaking Up For Her People
Ayoub explained that she had postponed her international pageant participation due to the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, according to The National.
On Instagram, she reflected on the weight of this moment, describing it not only as her personal achievement but also as a way of carrying her people’s story to the world.

She explained that her role goes beyond holding a title; it represents truth and resilience, particularly at a time when Gaza continues to face heartbreak.
She added that she sees herself as a voice for Palestinian women and children, whose strength deserves global recognition, and emphasized that her community embodies more than suffering; they represent hope, endurance, and the spirit of a homeland that continues to live through them.
Palestinian Heritage On Display
In her announcement, Ayoub wore a traditional tatreez-embroidered dress by Palestinian designer Hiba Abdelkarim.

The designer’s creations have also been worn by Queen Rania of Jordan, according to news reports.
Beyond The Pageant
Since being crowned in 2022, Ayoub has been actively involved with Sayidat Falasteen, a philanthropic and media initiative under the Miss Palestine Organisation. The platform highlights the stories of Palestinian women and helps support their businesses both within Palestine and among Palestinians living abroad.
She also founded Olive Green Academy, which promotes sustainability and environmental awareness.

The academy helps Palestinian women gain training in digital media and environmental advocacy, supporting them to launch sustainable enterprises and serve as climate ambassadors.
