A former massage therapist in South Australia has pleaded guilty to nearly 100 sexual abuse offenses involving 40 women while working at 4ever Massage Clinic in Glenelg, Adelaide.

The 38-year-old massage therapist, identified as Sumit Satish Rastogi, appeared in the District Court, where he admitted to 42 counts of aggravated indecent assault and three counts of indecent filming.

This follows his earlier guilty plea to 52 counts of indecent filming.
Nine Months of Abuse at Massage Clinic
Between October 2021 and July 2022, Rastogi abused his role at the clinic to assault multiple clients. His offenses came to light after victims reported their experiences, leading to a police investigation.

Tearful Plea as Bail Revoked
According to ABC News, during the hearing, Rastogi became visibly shaken when Judge Carmen Matteo ordered his bail to be revoked.
Emotional, he pleaded for more time, saying he needed at least another day to inform his parents before being taken into custody saying,
“Can you give me one more day please so I can inform my parents? Please, I beg you.”
Court Denies Request for Bail Extension
His defense lawyer, Adam Richards, requested to have Rastogi remain on bail for a few more weeks, citing personal reasons.
However, Judge Matteo denied the request, saying the seriousness of his crimes was more important than his personal inconvenience.

She ruled that there was no convincing reason to allow him to stay free.
Foreign National on a Student Visa
Based on a report by 7News Australia, Rastogi moved to Australia in 2012 on a student visa and is married, though his wife was not present in court.
With his bail revoked, he will remain in custody while undergoing a psychological assessment ahead of his sentencing in March.
