Man Loses Control at Phone Repair Store
On February 9, a man in Khon Kaen, Thailand, caused panic at a shopping mall after a phone repair store could not unlock his device due to a forgotten Apple ID password.
Security footage from the third floor of the mall shows the man, dressed in a blue shirt and gray shorts, at an iCare repair center for assistance.
When the female employee informed him that his phone could not be unlocked without the password and advised him to contact Apple Support, he became visibly agitated.

Violent Outburst Caught on Camera
According to Matichon, the man, later identified as 26-year-old Keerin, reacted by slamming his phone onto the counter and exclaiming, “This has happened too many times!” before storming out of the store, startling customers and the female employee who was attending him.
Witnesses reported hearing him shouting and mumbling to himself as he descended an escalator to the second floor.
He then destroyed a shopping cart before moving to the first floor, where he violently smashed his phone onto the ground.
Damage Inside and Outside the Mall
Keerin continued his rampage outside the mall, where he damaged motorcycle helmets left on parked motorbikes.

He then fled the scene on a blue-and-white Honda Scoopy-i motorcycle, escaping onto Mittraphap Road.

Police Locate and Detain the Man
In a report by The Thaiger, officers from Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station later identified Keerin and found him standing outside an army base in the province.
He was taken into custody for questioning.

Family Confirms Mental Illness
During questioning, police contacted Keerin’s family, who confirmed that he had a mental illness and was due for a medical follow-up on February 28.
Transferred to Psychiatric Hospital
Additionally, police reportedly transferred Keerin to Khon Kaen Rajanagarindra Psychiatric Hospital for proper treatment.
His younger brother later issued a public apology on social media to the store employees and shoppers affected by the incident.
No Injuries or Weapons Involved
Fortunately, no one was harmed during the rampage, and there were no reports of Keerin using any weapons during the incident.
Authorities have not disclosed the extent of the property damage caused.
