A Malaysian family recently had an unexpected moment of confusion when a delivery rider arrived with a large food order. The father, caught on CCTV footage, looked puzzled as he accepted eight sets of fried chicken from the rider.
The order, worth RM139.90 (approximately SGD42.27), was placed under the name “Seri Rahayu,” the mother of the family.
His Wife Did Not Order Anything
Naturally, the father assumed his wife had placed the order, but her immediate response left him even more confused.
“I didn’t order anything!” she insisted, leaving them both scratching their heads.
Trying to Solve the Mystery
Not knowing what else to do, the father asked the rider to double-check the order details.
The delivery details matched their home address, and the rider confirmed that the phone number linked to the order belonged to the mother.
Despite this, she was adamant that she hadn’t placed the order.
Neighbors Might Mistakenly Order
The situation grew more confusing when the father even considered that their neighbors might have mistakenly sent the food to their house.
The rider went to the neighbor’s house but returned minutes later to confirm that the address in the app matched the original delivery.
The Truth Finally Uncovered
Finally, the mystery was solved after the couple decided to check their food delivery account.
It was revealed that their six-year-old son was the unexpected culprit behind the huge order.
The boy had cleverly accessed his mother’s account and placed the order all by himself.
His parents were left in shock—not just at the unexpected meal delivery but also at their son’s surprising level of tech-savviness.
No Stress Just Laughs
This incident, shared in a TikTok video by user @/toyosan70, quickly gained attention online for its humor and relatability.
Many viewers found the story both amusing and a timely reminder of how comfortable children are with technology.
Sharing the Unexpected Blessing
In a follow-up TikTok video, the father addressed a viewer’s question about why they didn’t offer one of the food packs to the delivery rider.
He explained that he and his wife were shocked when the order arrived, never imagining their six-year-old son, Adam, could place it. They had never taught him to use the FoodPanda app or ordered in front of him.
The incident happened after Adam played with his mother’s phone for a few minutes. By the time she retrieved it, the order was placed, and soon the delivery rider arrived.
With so much food, the family shared it with neighbors and nearby relatives, turning the unexpected fried chicken order into a moment of laughter and community sharing.
The unexpected fried chicken order not only brought laughter but also an opportunity to share with the community.
