Tammy Ng found an ingenious solution to getting locked out of her own home this Monday: hiring a crane to get her back inside.
40-year-old Ng shared the video of her riding the crane on her Facebook account, explaining that 2024 will be her best year yet after she pulled off this incredible stunt. Her electronic entrance door malfunctioned, trapping her outside her own fourth floor apartment, which is located in Selangor.

She sought advice from a professional and was told to break the door down. However, after hearing that it would cost RM800 (approx. S$230) to repair the door and then an additional RM3000 (approx. S$850) to replace the damaged electronics, she decided to find a cheaper route.
That route ended up being hiring a crane for RM500 (approx. S$140) to get her to her apartment’s window. She was inspired by seeing a gardener trim the trees near her house on a similar crane. It was her first time on such a machine, but she seemed at ease in the video, smiling and waving at curious passers-by around the spectacle.

In the comments of her post, she regaled the netizens taking amusement in her activities by replying and laughing along with them.
