Bunnejin meets a racist in Singapore
Bunnejin, a Korean Twitch streamer with more than 55,000 followers, received some unsolicited racist advice from a lady clad in a red shirt during her visit to Singapore. The exchange, which was captured on Bunniejin’s live-stream, has been viewed over 17,000 times on the streaming platform.
The exchange began with the lady in red passing comment on Bunniejin’s dressing and ending her sentence with “good image”. Bunniejin responded by saying that she was on vacation in Singapore and she wanted to dress up.
What the lady said next made Bunniejin visibly uncomfortable.
“Dress up to avoid getting raped by…”
Out of nowhere, the racist lady offered Bunniejie some unsolicited and deeply racist advice.
“Singapore is very safe but you don’t want to get raped by Indians… and Bangladeshis… don’t dress like that”
At this point, Bunniejie raised her hand up towards the women, signaling her clear intent to end the conversation.
A few Twitch users, who watched the conversation unfold live, asked Bunniejin to ignore the racist lady.
Bunniejin thanked the lady for her advice before walking away from her. She then turned to her viewers and said “Oh my god” twice.
