Bihar Mob Inserts Chili Powder in Man’s Buttocks Over Alleged Car Theft

People in different parts of the world have their ways of dealing with crime, but sometimes these methods cross the line. A recent incident in Araria, Bihar, India, is a disturbing example of mob justice going too far. A man was brutally punished by a group of people who accused him of stealing a car, leading to an inhumane act.

Mob Inserts Chilli in Man’s Rectum as Punishment

A video that has gone viral on social media shows the man being held down by a group of people. His hands were tied, and his pants were removed, leaving his buttocks on display for everyone to see. One of the mob members opened a packet of red chili powder and threw it on the man’s bare buttocks.

However, the cruelty didn’t stop there—he further used a pencil to push the chili powder into his rectum, causing him unbearable pain. Despite his cries and begging for them to stop, they continued with their cruel act, only stopping after pulling his pants back up while he cried out in agony.

Public Outrage

The video has sparked outrage online, with many people expressing their disgust at what they saw. One person questioned if this act would be considered sexual assault, saying, “Even if he really stole anything, I don’t think he deserves this. Morally dead society.”

Another commenter was furious, asking why such brutal acts are not used against more severe criminals like pedophiles or rapists, calling the act “disgusting.”

Police Take Action

After the video spread widely, the Araria police responded with a statement on X. They condemned the incident and confirmed that one person involved in the act had been arrested.

“This case is related to the Araria police station area. This inhuman act was committed with a youth caught on charges of theft. One of the accused who committed the above act has been arrested. Further action is being taken regarding others,” the police stated.

As the investigation continues, it highlights the need to maintain justice and human dignity, regardless of how intense the anger might be. The incident in Araria shows just how dangerous and damaging mob justice can be, and why it must be condemned.
