After receiving the electric bill of Rs 10,000, she paid it with the money saved for her surgery and later committed suicide.”
Footage and Investigations
On the day of the tragedy, Bibi left home saying she was going to buy medicine. Instead, she jumped into a nearby drain. Despite her daughter’s attempt to save her, Bibi was not rescued in time. Footage capturing the moments leading up to the tragedy has surfaced, highlighting the severity of the situation. The Gujranwala Police have launched an investigation to understand the circumstances that led to Razia Bibi’s heartbreaking decision.
