Jack Lim, Malaysian producer, actor and radio DJ, took matters into his own hands when he caught a pervert taking upskirt videos of his female colleagues at a promotional event for his new film, “Happy Dragons”.

The event took place in Pavilion Bukit Jalil on Friday. The 48-year-old producer was speaking to press and fans when he noticed a man acting suspiciously. The man was holding a paper bag and angling it strangely near the female influencers at the event.
Jack questioned the man, but the perpetrator ran away and even though Jack gave chase, he lost track of the perp. Luckily, singer Henry Teo was able to stop the man in the parking lot with the help of an upstanding food delivery rider.

The men forced the perpetrator to unlock his phone. On there, they found upskirt videos from the day itself and from previous events. They immediately alerted the police, who soon arrived to apprehend the man.
Jack has shared a video from the scene to his social media account, showing the man hiding his face and struggling against the police. Onlookers can be seen staring disapprovingly.

The situation enraged Jack so much that when the perpetrator tried to take a swing at him before getting dragged away by the police, Jack struck him back. Jack explains in the caption of the video that he wanted revenge for the women at the event who were grossly violated. He names Han Xiao Ai, Nicole Low, Joey Kong, and also mentions the rest of the event crew.
He says that though he may have acted rashly, he doesn’t regret hitting the man after learning of his dirty little secret. He declares that he is willing to face the law if need be.

Netizens have praised him in the comments for standing up for the women involved, and Han Xiao Ai left a comment showcasing her gratitude.
There will be a second meet-and-greet session with the crew and cast of “Happy Dragons” on 31st January, 7PM Malaysian time. We can only hope that the team can celebrate their film with no troublemakers in the crowd next time around.
